I’ve always had a hard time sticking to one thing.

I started college as a theater major on scholarship, switched to engineering, spent some time chasing firefighting, and eventually landed in audio production. Audio was the one that stuck. More than 20 years later, I’m still working in music and media.

The rest of me still wanders.

I like figuring things out for myself. That might mean building a tool, learning enough code to make an idea work, rebuilding a motorcycle, wiring a car, recording sound effects, or going somewhere just because I want to know what it feels like to be there.

I don’t really feel a need to be the best at all of it. I just want to experience a lot, learn a lot, and make things along the way.

These days I lead creative production work at SiriusXM. Outside of work, I’m usually building something, fixing something, or getting interested in something I probably know very little about yet.
